The PAAD Study : Physical Activity and Alzheimer's Disease (Health/Exercise)
Location: UNC Greensboro
UNCG is offering a free 8-month exercise program for people who qualify to take part in aresearch study. Interested individuals must be between 50-65 years of age and have a family history ofAlzheimer’s disease. Creating: Quilts and Crafts of the Lakota (Exhibit)
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Museum of Anthropology, Wake Forest University
Twenty eye-dazzling quilts and 32 items of apparel and dance regalia made in traditional style by 20th-century Lakota artisans are on display in this exhibit. MOA shares the exhibit with Delta Arts Center, with each venue displaying about half of the quilts and crafts. Visitors should visit both museums for the complete experience. Admission is free.
Holiday Leftovers (Exhibit)
Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Location: Gateway Gallery at The Enrichment Center
Gateway Gallery will open the exhibition "Holiday Leftovers," an eclectic mix of subject matter and media by the Artists of Gateway Studios and their guests Ralph Calhoun, Gaby Cardall, Ian Dennis, Dumptruck Junior, Laura C Frazier and Benita Vanwinkle. Live music by the Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble. Refreshments hosted by the Center's advanced cooking students. The exhibition will remain on display through March 21.
