The PAAD Study : Physical Activity and Alzheimer's Disease (Health/Exercise)

UNCG is offering a free 8-month exercise program for people who qualify to take part in aresearch study. Interested individuals must be between 50-65 years of age and have a family history ofAlzheimer’s disease. Join us for a time for caregivers and their little ones to read, sing and play while learning signs to enhance tiny voices and communication! Appropriate for all ages, best for 9 months to 3 years. Led by Speech Language Pathologist, Acey Holmes, MS, CCC-SLP

Golden Triad Chorus Teaches the World to Sing (Music)

All over the globe, Sweet Adelines International choruses are joining together to teach the world to sing. Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to the Golden Triad Chorus Global Open House on Monday January 27 2014, 7:00pm at First Presbyterian Church 611 Oakhurst Street Kernersville. Golden Triad is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style. Golden Triad Chorus members share a love for music and singing barbershop harmony. As a member, you too can experience the exhilaration of performing and singing with Golden Triad. Most women will find a part that fits their voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and director.
