The PAAD Study : Physical Activity and Alzheimer's Disease (Health/Exercise)
Location: UNC Greensboro
UNCG is offering a free 8-month exercise program for people who qualify to take part in aresearch study. Interested individuals must be between 50-65 years of age and have a family history ofAlzheimer’s disease. A Tartan Evening (Dance)
Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: Greensboro Historical Museum, 130 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27401
Learn more about, and celebrate, the influence of Scotland and Scottish people in the Greensboro’s founding and development. Tour the McNairy House, enjoy a social hour and be entertained by bagpipe music and dancing by Triad Scottish Country Dancers. Brief program, followed by dinner, complete with a ceremonial toast to haggis. Scottish attire welcome, whether full regalia or a touch of plaid.Hosted by Greensboro’s English Speaking Union in partnership with the Historical Museum. Free Tax Assistance (Community Event)
Time: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Location: Jamestown Public Library
Tax returns will be prepared for individuals and couples by trained volunteers at the Jamestown Public Library. This will be done on Tuesdays from 2-6pm, Thursdays from 1-5pm, and Saturdays from 8:30am-12pm, starting on January 23 until April 12th.
