The PAAD Study : Physical Activity and Alzheimer's Disease (Health/Exercise)
Location: UNC Greensboro

UNCG is offering a free 8-month exercise program for people who qualify to take part in aresearch study. Interested individuals must be between 50-65 years of age and have a family history ofAlzheimer’s disease. If interested, they should go to the website for the Physical Activity and Alzheimer’sDisease study which is at www.paadstudy.org

Creating: Quilts and Crafts of the Lakota (Exhibit)
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Museum of Anthropology, Wake Forest University

Twenty eye-dazzling quilts and 32 items of apparel and dance regalia made in traditional style by 20th-century Lakota artisans are on display in this exhibit. MOA shares the exhibit with Delta Arts Center, with each venue displaying about half of the quilts and crafts. Visitors should visit both museums for the complete experience. Admission is free.

Energize your mind and body with your child! We begin each program with fun action rhymes and storytime. Then, as the music starts rockin’, we act out the story doing fun aerobic and dance moves! Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers as everyone (caregivers too!) will be on the move! Free with admission or membership.

Join us the third Tuesday of each month for open mic. Writers read 5-minute excerpts from their prose and poetry to a friendly and receptive audience. Unlike a “slam,” there’s no judging. Sign-up begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
