The PAAD Study : Physical Activity and Alzheimer's Disease (Health/Exercise)
Location: UNC Greensboro
UNCG is offering a free 8-month exercise program for people who qualify to take part in aresearch study. Interested individuals must be between 50-65 years of age and have a family history ofAlzheimer’s disease. Creating: Quilts and Crafts of the Lakota (Exhibit)
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Museum of Anthropology, Wake Forest University
Twenty eye-dazzling quilts and 32 items of apparel and dance regalia made in traditional style by 20th-century Lakota artisans are on display in this exhibit. MOA shares the exhibit with Delta Arts Center, with each venue displaying about half of the quilts and crafts. Visitors should visit both museums for the complete experience. Admission is free.
Live Nativity (Church Community Event)
Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Southside Baptist Church 401 E. Sprague St.
:Pastor Dan Musser and the members of SouthSide Baptist Church would like to invite the community to come and see the 57th live presentation of the nativity. Come see the beautiful vintage costumes and hear the Christmas story presented in English and Spanish. SouthSide Baptist Church is located at 401 E. Sprague Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127. The nativity runs from Friday 12/20/13 thru Monday 12/23/13 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM.
