Hopewell United Methodist Church will have a Country Breakfast Buffet Saturday, August 18, from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM. The menu will be eggs, grits, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, bacon, sausage, ham, and choice of beverage. The prices are $7 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12 yrs., and free for ages 5 & under. Recent Additions to the Collection (Exhibit)

Location: Museum of Anthropology, Wake Forest University
The Museum of Anthropology showcases recent donations to its permanent collection with this exhibit featuring archaeological and ethnographic artifacts from cultures around the world. Highlights include intricately decorated personal adornment from Papua New Guinea, Tang Dynasty ceramics from China, and saddle rugs from the Salgo Collection. Admission is free. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00am-4:30pm.
"The President is Coming!" U.S. Presidential Visits to Greensboro (Exhibit)

What do Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt and Bill Clinton all have in common? A new display at the Greensboro Historical Museum illustrates that there have been at least eighteen U.S. President's who have stopped in the Gate City. Come visit the lobby display, our preview to the full display that will be on view on August 23, 2012. As always, all exhibitions at the museum are free for visitors.

Pinkalicious Party (Childrens Event)

Join us at the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem for our Pinkalicious Party, Saturday, August 18th from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.This pinkalicious party will be filled with costumes, crafts and delicious Pink treats! You will create a princess hat, fancy wands and more. Hear about the adventures Pinkalicioius has with her special friend, Goldie. Decorate a cookie with pink icing and sprinkles, sip pink lemonade and enjoy delicious treats!Registration is required. The cost is $12 for member-child and $18 for non-member-child, (1 adult-free) and includes museum admission. Free Tennis Lessons for Kids (Community Event)

Location: Parkland High School
The Kimiberly Park Tennis Club offers free tennis lessons to kids ages 5 to 18. Practices are held at the Parkland High School tennis courts each Saturday at 3pm This is a year long program and winter practices are held at the Wake Forest University Indoor Tennis Center.
